What is USB Device Security?
Put simply, USB Device Security is a collection of settings or AD Groups that allows system administrators to manage access to USB peripheral devices. In its simplest form, USB Device Security provides an administrator the necessary permissions to lock-down user access to USB drives; essentially shutting down the USB ports for any user that plugs a device in (i.e. disable read access).
